Safety has been a core value of our company since its inception more than 30 years ago.

At Cal-Chlor Corporation, we believe the safety and health of all employees, contractors, and visitors to our worksites is of prime importance. We strive to prevent unsafe acts and conditions every day and in everything we do to provide a workplace free of hazards.

As part of our commitment to safety, Cal-Chlor employs a full-time director of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) to oversee our program and help ensure our company complies with all applicable state, local, and industry safety and health regulations.

Cal Chlor Safety

Cal-Chlor has also developed a comprehensive safety manual to which all employees must adhere. In addition to basic safety training for new employees, we hold monthly safety meetings and training sessions covering topics ranging from respiratory protection to industrial hygiene, fire prevention, forklift safety, and emergency response.

Our safety philosophy is based upon a proactive attitude in which all employees, supervisors, and management personnel are 100 percent committed to maintaining a safe work environment. We pledge to perform work in a manner that:
